media: watercolor, oil pastel, vine charcoal, acrylic. It measures 22.5" wide x 16.5" tall. I like to look at this piece from all four obvious orientations...each one has its own message of sorts. I encourage people to whom I've given this print to hang it however they like it best--there's no "right way up." DESCRIPTION OF PROCESS: This piece is a process painting--it was created in 12 different sessions by 3 different artists. I created the first and last "stages" of the piece. The "stages" in between were created in alternating sessions with another artist who could do whatever she wanted to it for 30-40 minutes before putting the piece back into my hands. The idea was not to build on the previous stage, but to do whatever you would do to it if the piece were yours. The artist whose work is still visible in the final piece is my sister, Andrea Stutzman.
